With a cold wind blowing, many birds were sheltering, but with a bright blue sky and plenty of sunshine it was great hunting conditions for this Kestrel hovering over the scrape today...

A handsome Pheasant explored the meadow today...

while a Snipe was dozing on the scrape...

and a Goldcrest was hunting for food in the bramble hedge...

Some water on the carpark makes it a very happy new year for this Grey Wagtail ....
